Steinbühltunnel (Stuttgart–Ulm / Stuttgart 21) – Baden-Württemberg

Description

The Steinbühltunnel is a key structure of the Wendlingen–Ulm high-speed rail line and part of the Stuttgart–Ulm rail project. The twin-bore railway tunnel was constructed using conventional tunnelling and is characterised by demanding geological conditions and a high degree of construction-phase complexity.

Scope of Services

Project Management with a strong focus on Cost Controlling and Risk Management, including cost tracking, forecasting and variance analysis, as well as support in defining and implementing risk mitigation measures and decision preparation. In addition, proactive Interface Management and Stakeholder Management ensured transparency, aligned decision-making and robust project delivery within a highly complex infrastructure environment.
