This website runs on a server of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, in Germany. When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement with IONOS is in place.
If you contact us by email, phone or via the contact form, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, message) to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. To deliver form messages to our mailbox we use the service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified. We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
If you apply via the career form or by email, we process your application documents to carry out the application process (Section 26 BDSG, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no employment results, we delete the documents no later than six months after the process has ended.
To protect our forms against spam we use Google reCAPTCHA v3 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Usage data such as IP address and interactions on the page are transmitted to Google and may be transferred to the USA. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against abuse. More information: Google privacy policy.
Only if you consent in the cookie notice do we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to analyse website usage statistically. Cookies are set and usage data (e.g. pages viewed, time on page, device information, truncated IP address) are processed; a transfer to the USA is possible (EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting the stored site data in your browser; the notice will then appear again.
As technically necessary, we store your language choice in a cookie and your decision on the cookie notice in your browser's local storage (Section 25(2) TDDDG).
For booking a call we link to Calendly and to our LinkedIn profile. The privacy policies of these providers apply only once you click the links.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You may withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
