WINX Tower – Frankfurt am Main

The WINX Tower is a landmark high-rise office development located in Frankfurt’s banking district, in close proximity to the River Main and the central business area. The project is characterised by its inner-city location, sophisticated high-rise architecture, and high technical requirements for structural design, façade systems, and building services.

The complexity of the building and the constrained urban environment required careful coordination of planning disciplines and a structured preparation of construction works for procurement.

Scope of Services

Within HOAI Service Phase 6 (Preparation of Tendering), the scope of services included support in preparing the tendering of construction works. This comprised in particular the preparation and coordination of bills of quantities, quantity take-offs, and technical coordination with the involved design disciplines.

In addition, the execution design was reviewed for plausibility, constructability, and interface coordination, and optimisation measures for structural and technical solutions were identified and supported, with the objective of establishing an economically and technically robust basis for tendering.
